Job description

We're strategists, creators, and technologists united by one thing: reaching faith-based audiences with stories that matter.

Senior Business Development Strategist

Location: Remote (US-based)

Type: Full-Time Employee

Compensation: Base + uncapped commission, commensurate with experience

Who We Are

Radiant Digital is the leading digital marketing partner for faith-based organizations. We connect people of faith with the ministries, brands, and organizations that matter to them - through purpose-driven storytelling and a first-party data advantage no one else has. That means launching and scaling results-driven performance marketing campaigns for churches, nonprofits, Christian publishers, higher education institutions, and faith-first brands. We chase our clients' goals like they're our own, and we're looking for someone who does the same.

The Opportunity

We're hiring a Senior Business Development Strategist to drive growth across the nonprofit and faith sectors. We need a seasoned closer who has navigated complex sales cycles in mission-driven spaces and isn't afraid to bring bold ideas to the table. Success will be measured by deals won and partnerships built.

This is a hunter role, and you'll own the full sales cycle from first outreach to signed contract. You'll leverage your marketing expertise and Radiant Digital's unique capabilities to craft compelling solutions. This is a revenue-generating role, and you'll be given the opportunity to run it like one.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle through prospecting, discovery, proposal development, negotiation, and contract signing
  • Drive new business by identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities with nonprofit and faith-based organizations
  • Develop strategic marketing recommendations as part of the sales process, demonstrating how Radiant Digital meets each client's unique needs
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline, accurately forecasting revenue and consistently hitting targets
  • Cultivate long-term relationships that lead to renewals, expansions, and referrals
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure smooth handoffs and client success post-sale
  • Stay sharp on industry trends in digital marketing, fundraising, and nonprofit communications - and bring those insights back to the team

What Success Looks Like

  • Ramp into a defined set of target accounts and build a qualified pipeline
  • Develop a deep command of Radiant Digital's capabilities, positioning, and competitive advantages
  • Be a trusted advisor to a growing portfolio of faith-based and nonprofit clients
  • Contribute meaningfully to sales strategy and team knowledge-sharing

You're a great fit if you have:

  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience - A documented track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Understanding of faith-based and/or nonprofit landscape - This is non-negotiable. Our sales process requires fluency in how these organizations operate, how decisions are made, and what matters most to their leaders
  • Been a proven closer (not just a relationship builder) - You've owned deals end-to-end and can connect sales strategy to measurable client outcomes
  • Demonstrated digital marketing expertise - You can speak the language, diagnose challenges, and propose solutions with credibility
  • An effective communication style - You lead with confidence, collaborate without ego, and makes the team better
  • Experience with or appreciation for faith-based audiences - You understand that messaging to this community requires authenticity, not just targeting

Bonus points if you have:

  • Direct experience selling digital marketing services to faith-based and/or nonprofit organizations
  • Existing relationships or network within the faith-based or nonprofit community
  • Experience with fundraising, donor communications, or church/ministry marketing
  • Familiarity with the unique challenges of marketing to faith audiences (platform targeting restrictions, contextual alignment, etc.)

Benefits

  • Health, dental, and other welfare benefits
  • 401(k) with company match and employer discretionary contribution
  • Paid sicktime, flexible vacation time, and paid holidays

Important: Please Read Before Applying

This role requires direct experience in the faith-based and/or nonprofit sector. We are seeking candidates who understand the unique culture, decision-making processes, and communication styles of churches, ministries, and mission-driven organizations. If you do not have hands-on experience working with or selling to faith-based or nonprofit organizations, please do not apply.

Equal Opportunity Employer

We are an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, pregnancy, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
