Job description

Duties:
  • Plan, direct, and lead music for Protestant worship services, ensuring a vibrant and engaging worship experience.
  • Select and prepare appropriate contemporary and traditional worship music in collaboration with the responsible chaplain.
  • Lead the praise and worship team, including vocalists and instrumentalists, in weekly rehearsals and Sunday services.
  • Play an instrument (keyboard, piano, or guitar) to support worship services as needed.
  • Prepare and manage worship presentations using presentation software for services.
  • Recruit and train volunteer musicians and singers to enhance the worship experience.
  • Coordinate musical elements for special services such as Christmas, Easter, and other Holy Days.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years of experience leading a church or chapel music ministry.
  • Proficiency in playing and leading worship music on at least one instrument (keyboard, piano, or guitar).
  • Strong knowledge of Protestant worship styles, music traditions, and contemporary Christian music.
  • Ability to read and transpose music, arrange compositions, and direct vocal and instrumental groups.
