Job description

SUMMARY
The School of Liberal Arts and Sciences is seeking Adjunct Instructors to teach Politics, and International Development. Responsibilities may include instructing undergraduate and post-graduate level students, partaking in department meetings and discussions, as well as assisting in campus events as needed.
The School of Liberal Arts and Sciences faculty foster intellectual curiosity, open inquiry, critical thinking, the pursuit of knowledge, responsible civic engagement, and a deep understanding of the relationship of the Christian faith and reason. Palm Beach Atlantic University is a comprehensive Christian university whose mission is to equip students to grow in wisdom, lead with conviction, and serve God boldly, emphasizing moral, spiritual, and intellectual development.
STATUS:
Applications reviewed on a rolling basis until positions are filled.
EDUCATION:
Master's degree, with at least 18 graduate level course related credits, or Ph.D. or Juris Doctorate, required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Demonstrated expertise in the discipline.
  • Prior collegiate-level teaching experience, preferred.
  • Commitment to teaching excellence and service to the college, university, and community.
  • Demonstrated Christian commitment and the ability to integrate faith into coursework.
