Jill’s House is a Christian non-profit organization and auxiliary ministry of McLean Bible Church called by God to love individuals toward Jesus by providing them with short-term, overnight respite care and holistic family support services. Jill’s House is seeking Direct Support Professionals to care for individuals with intellectual disabilities in our fully accessible respite resort in Vienna, Virginia just outside of Washington, DC.


The Direct Support Professional is responsible for:

  • The guidance and supervision of individuals to whom they are assigned.
  • Performing a combination of basic care, assistance with activities of daily living, and activity guidance in a safe, nurturing environment.
  • Following each client’s service plan and ensuring a positive experience for all participants.
  • Training and professional development is provided so experience is not required.

Available Shifts:

  • Tuesday & Thursday: 1 PM - 9 PM
  • Wednesday & Friday: 6 AM - 10 AM
  • Friday: 5 PM - 10 PM
  • Saturday: 6 AM to 2 PM, 1 PM - 9 PM, and 6 AM - 6 PM
  • Sunday: 6 AM - 4:30 PM, 1 PM - 4:30 PM

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Be at least 18 years old, high school graduate or GED.
  • At least six months experience preferred.
  • Physical strength and stamina to engage with individuals and perform activities of daily living (ADLs).
  • Must be able to work weekend shifts.
  • Patience, good oral and written communication skills.
  • Great team skills, willingness to learn and grow.
  • Must affirm the McLean Bible Church Vision and Values as well as abide by the Standards of Christian Conduct. (See attached)
