ORGANIZATION SUMMARY
World Relief is a global Christian humanitarian organization whose mission is to boldly engage the world's greatest crises in partnership with the church. The organization was founded in the aftermath of World War II to respond to the urgent humanitarian needs of war-torn Europe. Since then, for 80 years, across 100 countries, World Relief has partnered with local churches and communities to build a world where families thrive and communities flourish.
Today, organizational programming focuses on humanitarian and disaster response, community strengthening and resilience, and refugee & immigrant services and advocacy.

Conduct interviews with program participants, staff, volunteers and partners in a manner that reflects dignity, respect and ethical storytelling standards.
  • Maintain all World Relief ethical storytelling practices, including informed consent and proper representation of program participants.
  • Capture high-quality raw content in various formats including photo, video, audio and written notes to support storytelling and marketing efforts.
  • Gather supporting data points and contextual information from offices to strengthen story development and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with World Relief Western Washington program and advancement staff to coordinate content capture aligned with campaign timelines and ongoing office rhythms.
  • Work closely with the Communications Support Officer (CSO) and broader Marketing team by delivering organized raw content and supporting materials for further development and production.
  • Attend relevant program meetings and office touchpoints to maintain a consistent pipeline of story leads and content opportunities.
  • Remain up to date on content capture best practices, including mobile and DSLR shooting techniques, lighting and audio quality, to ensure high-quality raw assets.
  • Engage with U.S. Office digital platforms as needed to support visibility of content and remain informed on audience engagement trends, ensuring alignment with brand voice and presence.
  • Meet regularly with assigned Marketing and U.S. Advancement stakeholders to ensure content collection aligns with broader fundraising and storytelling priorities.
  • Interact on World Relief Western Washington's digital platforms to increase engagement by commenting, liking, sharing, and reposting band aligned content.
  • Collaborate with USAD staff around metrics and analytics to successfully increase engagement of content.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
