Job description

The Student Content Creator will assist the Marketing Content Coordinator in providing content revolving around CAMPUS EXPERIENCE & COMMUNITY LIFE for social media channels in a variety of digital formats that accurately reflect Crown College.

Minimum Qualifications:
Support and Model the policies and standards of Crown College as stated in the Student Handbook and Crown Community Covenant. Evidence of Christian character and a commitment to encourage others toward Christ-likeness. Maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA. Must be in good standing with the college.

Responsibilities - Provide a detailed list of tasks and responsibilities.
Campus Experience Coverage - Capture authentic student-life moments: studying, hanging out, serving, worshiping, and celebrating together. - Highlight Student Life and Residence Life events that showcase community and connection. - Represent a wide range of students, majors, and activities. Faith Discovery - Document chapel, worship, service projects, and ministry events that reflect spiritual growth. - Capture stories that show faith lived out authentically across campus. Community & Collaboration - Partner with Student Life and Campus Ministries to plan coverage. - Collaborate weekly with the Academic & Athletics creator to align storytelling and maintain visual consistency. Content Contribution - Upload photos and video clips to the shared folder weekly. - Suggest captions or short-form post ideas that align with Crown's "Life + Faith" storytelling wells.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
High attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks., Proficiency with basic computer applications, including email and word processing., Effective verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal skills. Ability to manage time effectively and balance multiple responsibilities., Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work collaboratively and respectfully as part of a team, Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond appropriately to unexpected situations., Professional demeanor, including appropriate appearance and conduct in the workplace., Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry items up to 25 lbs. for extended periods. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings or weekends as needed.

Physical Demands:
Ability to move about campus and within work areas as required., Ability to lift and carry loads of up to 4 pounds.? Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while performing job duties. Physically able to fulfill duties. Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions as part of regular tasks., Ability to operate necessary equipment or tools safely in assigned work areas.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Canva, Lightroom, or mobile editing apps (CapCut, Adobe Rush, VSCO) - Prior experience in photography, social media, or creative roles - Involvement in athletics, Student Life, or creative arts at Crown
