Summary

Are you a creative storyteller with a strategic mindset and a passion for digital marketing? Our events agency is looking for contract Content Writer & Marketing Specialists to support marketing efforts for our experiential clients. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and have hands-on experience with paid social, SEO, email marketing, and content creation, we’d love to hear from you. 


Please note: This is a flexible, project-based contractor opportunity. Work is assigned as client and agency needs arise, and hours are not guaranteed. 


What You’ll Do 

You’ll play a key role in shaping and executing marketing campaigns that drive engagement and elevate event experiences. Your responsibilities could include: 

  • Campaign Development - Translate client input and event goals into actionable campaign calendars, outlining communication channels, frequency, and content themes. 
  • Campaign Scheduling & Deployment - Plan, schedule, and launch campaign materials with precision and timeliness. 
  • Performance Reporting - Gather, analyze, and report on campaign metrics to both internal and client teams.
  • Brand & Messaging Strategy - Collaborate with client teams to brainstorm and refine brand voice and messaging that resonates. 
  • Client & Internal Collaboration - Participate in meetings to align on strategy, execution, and results. 

Copywriting Across Channels -  Craft compelling content for a variety of platforms, including: 

  • Social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook) 
  • Email campaigns 
  • Website and mobile app copy 
  • Event print collateral 
  • Proposals and presentations 

Corporate Marketing Support - Contribute to our agency’s own marketing efforts, including: 

  • Social media content 
  • Blog posts and long-form articles 
  • Case studies 
  • Website updates 
  • Awards submissions 


Project Types & Duration 

  • Project-based contracts ranging from 2 to 10 weeks, depending on event scope 
  • This is a flexible contractor role. Assignments may range from a few hours of support to larger project engagements, and hours are not guaranteed. 
  • Occasional longer-term internal or special projects 
  • Seasonal opportunities with potential for ongoing collaboration 


What We’re Looking For 

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, copywriting, or corporate communications (agency or event experience preferred) 
  • Proficiency with tools like Mailchimp, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social 
  • A portfolio showcasing your writing and content work 
  • Strong editing and proofreading skills 
  • Excellent project management abilities 
  • Familiarity with SEO and paid social campaigns is a plus 
  • Design skills are a bonus, but not required
