Kenmore Alliance Church seeks a Christ-centered leader who is passionate about preaching God's Word, discipling individuals, shepherding the congregation, and a goal of community impact.
We are seeking a Lead Pastor who will serve as the primary spiritual leader of Kenmore Alliance Church. The ideal candidate is a servant-leader with a deep love for Jesus, a passion for God's Word, and a heart for equipping individual believers and the church to impact the world for Christ. Our next Lead Pastor will demonstrate Bible-based expository preaching, lead and empower staff and volunteer leaders, cast vision, and model a life of prayer, discernment, humility, and missional engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preaching & Teaching: Deliver biblically grounded, Spirit-led, expository, challenging and culturally relevant sermons; oversee preaching schedule and teaching ministries.
  • Visionary Leadership: Discern and articulate God's direction for the church, guide believers to discover and use their gifts, cast vision, demonstrate effective servant-leadership, empower staff, delegate effectively, guide strategic planning and ministry development.
  • Spiritual Oversight: Develop individuals according to their spiritual gifts and talents while shepherding the congregation, staff, and leaders with compassion, integrity, and wise biblical counsel.
  • Team Development: Lead and develop a strong, caring staff and leadership team; provide encouragement, accountability, and alignment.
  • Mission Engagement: Support local outreach and global missions in alignment with the C&MA's Fourfold Gospel and Great Commission focus.
  • Administrative Leadership: Oversee church operations in partnership with the Board of Elders and ministry teams.

Qualifications
  • A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a life that reflects spiritual maturity.
  • Ordained (or eligible for ordination) with the Christian and Missionary Alliance.
  • Full Agreement with the C&MA Statement of Faith and polity.
  • 5-10 years of pastoral leadership experience, preferably in a mid-sized, multi-staff church setting.
  • Strong communicator and expository preacher.
  • Proven leadership in casting vision, building teams, and equipping the body for ministry.
  • Bachelor's or Master of Divinity is preferred. Minimum of 30 hours in Biblical Studies or Theology is required from an accredited institution.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Benefits package including optional use of parsonage, retirement matching, generous PTO, and cell phone plan.
  • Total compensation package between $60k to $80k.
