Job description

RSU5 DURHAM-FREEPORT-POWNAL

 

Laugh & Learn Beforecare and/or Aftercare Teacher Positions

 

Permanent and Substitute Positions available

 

RSU5 Laugh & Learn

RSU5 has an IMMEDIATE NEED FOR individuals to supervise and ensure the safety of students within the Laugh & Learn before and /or aftercare programs.  Teachers provide a fun and nurturing environment for children before and/or after their regular school hours. The teacher will assist with homework, create engaging activities, and be alert to the needs of students as individuals and as part of a group. The teacher must be attentive and extensively supervise the children. Must be at least 18 years old. Must hold or be eligible for a CHRC from Maine Department of Education. This position is open for permanent and substitute roles during the school year.

 

Hours for these positions vary from 1.5 hours to 4 hours per day, 7.5 to 20 hours per week during the school year. Previous childcare experience is preferred.
