Elementary & Middle School Band and Chorus Teacher
RMSST 4-8
RMSST 4-8 is a non-traditional Magnet school for students in 4th-8th grades opening in August 2026. It will focus on STEM, interdisciplinary project-based learning, and the Design process. Applicants must be flexible, possess a growth mindset, collaborate positively and effectively with others, and take initiative.
The band/chorus teacher will teach general music for elementary as well as a combination of band and chorus for middle school students. The band/chorus teacher is also responsible for collaborating with other connections teachers, hosting at least 2 programs per year, organizing field trips, and leading fundraisers.
To be considered, candidates must hold a certificate in Music Education issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission AND must have ALREADY passed the GACE in the required field.
