Job description

Description:

The successful candidate will be a part of the production team. The Machine Operator will operate specific processing, packaging, portioning, conveying, and cooking equipment within specified parameters. Operators will be expected and required to run assigned equipment to obtain maximum productivity and quality while performing the following duties. Typically, assignments will be in a specific department and reporting will include an assigned production supervisor. The position requires an individual with several attributes, including:

-Familiarity with mechanical applications

-Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions

-Standing in a stationary position for an extended period of time

-Some bending and lifting

-Able to perform in high-stress situations
-Able to lift 50+ pounds

-Maintain production output goals

-Team player


Requirements:

Job duties of a Production Machine Operator include:

· Setting up line for production run

· Lifting raw material cases of 50 pounds

· Moving melters and equipment

· Clearing and moving pallets

· AWEMA One-Shot machine operation – The One-Shot deposits a filling inside a shell of chocolate. Responsibilities includes disassembling, washing, and reassembling the machine, learning a computerized menu of options, monitoring and troubleshooting

· Selmi/Enrober operation – tempers chocolate

· DoBoy Wrapper operation – wraps chocolate products


Training and oversight is provided for all job duties.
