Job Summary:The Production Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining production machinery to ensure efficient manufacturing operations. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to meet production goals while maintaining product quality.Key Responsibilities:Operate production machinery and equipment according to established procedures.Set up machines and adjust controls to ensure proper operation.Monitor machine performance and production output.Inspect products for quality and compliance with specifications.Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report significant problems to supervisors or maintenance personnel.Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment.Maintain accurate production records and documentation.Follow all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules and goals.Assist with material handling, packaging, and other production-related tasks as needed.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred but not required.Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures.Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and quality control.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand for extended periods.Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements.Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and moving equipment.Work Environment:Manufacturing or production facility.Exposure to machinery, noise, dust, and varying temperatures depending on the operation.Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).
