The Company: Winfield’s Chocolate Bar is Houston’s best one-stop shop for purveyors of everyday delight and all things chocolate. From decadent handmade chocolates, ice cream combinations you’ve never heard of and cakes as tall as you can imagine, Winfield’s has it all. More than anything, Winfield’s honors it’s history as the Chocolate Bar for the past two decades in Houston as a space where everyone can find something sweet to brighten their day.

The Position: We’re looking for an experienced Baker/ Cake Decorator. The pay range we’re offering is 15-16.50 p/hour. THIS POSITION is responsible for

Requirements:

  • Must be able to work long hours while standing
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Cakes for decoration by applying basic food preparation skills, including layering, frosting and filling.
  • Decorate Cakes according to company-approved designs using and approved buttercream and/ or ganache techniques to ensure all cakes meet company standards for quality, consistency and presentation.
  • Package finish product carefully to ensure quality and presentation during transport or display.
  • Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in all aspects of food handling and kitchen operations.
  • Assist in food production tasks such as baking, portioning, and ingredient preparation as needed.
