Join Our Team as Children's Pastor!

Are you passionate about leading kids to Jesus and equipping the next generation of disciples? Do you love creating engaging, dynamic environments where children can grow in faith, build relationships, and experience the love of Christ? If so, we’d love to meet you!
At Canyon Hills Friends Church, we believe that children's ministry is more than just childcare-it’s a mission field where young hearts are shaped, families are strengthened, and lives are transformed. We’re looking for a Children’s Pastor who is ready to lead with vision, creativity, and a heart for reaching kids and their families with the gospel.
What You’ll Do:
As our Children's Pastor, you’ll have the opportunity to:
  • Lead & Oversee our ministries for Nursery through 5th Grade, including Sunday programs, Wednesday night program, and our MOMCO ministry.
  • Create Engaging Programs that help kids develop a love for Jesus through Orange Curriculum and a focus on worship, discipleship, evangelism, fellowship, and service.
  • Plan Exciting Events that reach our community, including our Easter Egg Hunt, VBS, and Fall Outreach.
  • Build & Train an Incredible Volunteer Team by recruiting, equipping, and coaching leaders to serve in children’s ministry.
  • Foster Discipleship by helping kids know Christ, grow in their faith, and share Jesus with others.
  • Develop Outreach Strategies to welcome new families and connect unchurched kids to a life-changing relationship with Christ.
  • Create a Safe & Welcoming Environment by overseeing classroom coordination, childcare staff, and safety protocol including on boarding protocols and background checks.
