This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to manage your schedule effectively while contributing to a virtual community of mental health professionals. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing an ideal work-life balance. In this environment, you will work closely with fellow counselors, social workers, and psychiatrists to ensure comprehensive support for our clients.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and intake evaluations, developing tailored treatment plans that reflect the unique needs and goals of each client.
• Provide therapeutic services utilizing a range of evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, person-centered therapy, and solution-focused methods.
• Develop a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients, helping them set achievable goals and strategies for personal change.
• Actively respond to clients in crisis, delivering immediate interventions and support to address their urgent needs.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with ethical guidelines and clinic policies, ensuring compliance with relevant state regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care, sharing insights regarding client progress and strategies for improvement.
• Engage in continuous professional development, keeping abreast of the latest trends and techniques in mental health therapy.
• Provide supervision, mentorship, or guidance to clinical interns or less experienced counselors seeking to enhance their skills.

Your clients will include individuals grappling with a wide range of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, relationship difficulties, and grief. You will play an essential role in helping these individuals navigate their challenges through targeted therapeutic approaches, fostering resilience and promoting overall mental wellness.

• A Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A valid and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapy in an outpatient or clinical setting.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and proficiency in developing effective treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
• A sound understanding of ethical principles, confidentiality laws, and best practices in the field of mental health counseling.
• A commitment to delivering culturally sensitive therapy that recognizes and respects the diverse backgrounds and identities of all clients.

• Experience in trauma-informed care, grief counseling, couples therapy, or working with adolescents is highly valued.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and virtual counseling practices.
• Agile in adapting therapeutic techniques to suit a variety of client situations and needs.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000 per year based on your experience and performance.
