As a fully remote position, this role allows the Licensed Clinical Social Worker to provide services to clients from the comfort of their own home while maintaining a flexible schedule. Our Detox Center stands as a pivotal facility within our organization, specializing in patient-centered approaches to recovery and mental health. By utilizing technology to provide mental health services, our practitioners can offer timely and crucial support to our clients.

• Conduct thorough interviews and assessments of clients and their families to pinpoint social, emotional, and economic factors that may hinder their ability to access quality medical care.
• Utilize telehealth platforms to provide counseling and therapy to clients experiencing substance use disorders, drawing on trauma-informed methodologies.
• Research, refer, and actively advocate for available community resources, including healthcare, childcare, and food assistance, to enhance client well-being.
• Respond effectively to crisis situations, including child abuse or severe mental health emergencies, by implementing appropriate interventions.
• Maintain ongoing monitoring of clients' progress, conducting regular follow-ups to ensure they are achieving their therapeutic goals and improving overall wellness.
• Assist clients in navigating life changes, such as unemployment or family issues, by offering tailored support and resources.

The focus will primarily be on individuals facing challenges related to substance use and those impacted by trauma. A significant part of this role includes working with veterans who may have specific psychological needs due to combat experiences or transitions into civilian life. Our aim is to provide a safe space for clients to address their concerns while equipping them with tools for recovery and personal growth.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license is mandatory.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience delivering mental health services, especially within a healthcare setting.
• Experience working with veterans and knowledge of their specific mental health challenges is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Department of Mental Health billing procedures and documentation is essential.
• Proficient understanding of child development, parenting issues, and recognizing signs of abuse or neglect.
• Excellent verbal communication skills are crucial for effectively counseling and guiding clients.

• Practical experience in parent-child interventions that facilitate healthy familial relationships.
• Strong background in applying trauma-informed care techniques to various client situations.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and teletherapy platforms.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
