Position Overview

WelQor Behavioral Therapy is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team. Work Environment

This role is fully remote, allowing social workers the flexibility to offer vital support from the comfort of their own home. As part of our Hospice Center team, social workers coordinate closely with medical professionals to ensure holistic and comprehensive care for clients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough interviews and evaluations for patients and their families to assess social, emotional, and economic factors impacting healthcare access and outcomes.
• Provide telehealth mental health services using a variety of trauma-informed therapeutic techniques, ensuring effective treatment plans specific to substance use disorders.
• Effectively advocate for and connect clients with essential community resources such as food assistance, childcare, and healthcare, to enhance their overall quality of life.
• Respond swiftly and sensitively to crisis situations, including mental health emergencies and cases of suspected abuse, ensuring client safety and well-being.
• Monitor client progress continuously, providing follow-up support to track improvements and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
• Support clients in navigating major life transitions, including health crises, divorce, and unemployment, offering practical coping strategies and emotional support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients served in this role will primarily include individuals and families facing complex mental health challenges within a hospice setting. Services will focus on enhancing coping mechanisms among patients dealing with significant life changes, trauma, and issues with substance use. Experience working with veterans is particularly valuable, as many clients may present unique needs stemming from their service experiences.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid LCSW License in Pennsylvania.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing mental health services, preferably within a healthcare environment.
• Familiarity with Department of Mental Health billing practices and associated paperwork.
• Strong background in interventions with children and families, including understanding of child development, parenting dynamics, and issues of abuse/neglect.
• Exceptional verbal communication skills to effectively counsel and advise clients in a supportive manner.

Preferred Experience

• Experience providing mental health support to veterans and understanding their specific psychological needs.
• Proficiency in telehealth systems and online therapy platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits

WelQor Behavioral Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:
