Job Title: Director of Dietary Services/DieticianDepartment: DietaryReports to: COO/CNO
York General is seeking a dynamic and clinically skilled Director of Dietary Services / Registered Dietitian to lead our hospital nutrition and food service operations. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing dietary services, clinical nutrition care, regulatory compliance, budgeting, staffing, and quality improvement initiatives while actively providing medical nutrition therapy to patients.

  • Develop patient menus, in conjunction with the Dietary Supervisor, to meet CMS guidelines.
  • Develop, evaluate, or monitor clinical nutrition systems.
  • Be a team leader of the department as we implement EPIC, our new EHR.
  • Implement organizational initiatives that enhance staff recruitment and retention.

What You'll Bring:
  • Must be a Licensed Medical Nutrition Therapist (LMNT) in the State of Nebraska and a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical dietitian experience
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory standards, food safety, quality improvement, and clinical nutrition care
  • Effective problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills!
