Aspirus Health in WAUSAU, WI is seeking a VP- SYSTEM NURSING OPERATIONS to join our Nursing Administration team!
The VP, System Nursing Operations is considered the primary executive nursing backup to the Aspirus SVP, Chief Nurse Executive (CNE). Is responsible for implementing the strategic vision, priorities, and day-to-day operations to effectively deliver high quality and effective nursing care that achieves results consistent with the goals of the Aspirus health system. The VP, System Nursing Operations is responsible for nursing quality in partnership with the VP, System Quality and Safety as well as nursing practice and operations that support the overall integration and implementation of a common approach to nursing care delivery, nursing excellence, and patient care across the Aspirus health system.
Participates in the development of short- and long-term strategies, goals, objectives, plans and drives system initiatives and projects for areas of responsibility across the care continuum. Partners with CNE, Chief Medical Officer (CMO), system executives, Business Unit (BU) Chief Nursing Officers (CNO), Providers and other key stakeholders across the care continuum to assess operations effectiveness, identify opportunities for redesign and optimization of human talent, processes, care models, and technology.
The VP, System Nursing Operations is a domain expert in nursing best practice, staffing effectiveness, models, and informatics. Additionally, maintains in-depth knowledge of healthcare topics and emerging trends, patient care practices, technology, and analytics.
