Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic and operational financial leadership. This executive role oversees financial reporting, treasury management, compliance, audits, budgeting, and long-range planning while driving process improvements and scalable systems. The CFO partners closely with executive leadership to support growth initiatives, strengthen internal controls, and ensure sound financial management across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Procedural Leadership & Reporting
  • Oversee timely and accurate preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Manage annual audits, tax compliance and planning, insurance, risk management, and ROI analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and all local, state, and federal reporting requirements.
  • Establish and maintain strong internal controls and safeguard financial systems.
  • Enhance and enforce finance, accounting, billing, and SOP compliance.

Strategic Leadership
  • Lead treasury functions including cash flow planning, reporting, and debt covenant compliance.
  • Serve as primary contact for auditors, bankers, lenders, and financial system vendors.
  • Drive implementation of strategic operational and financial systems improvements.
  • Lead modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and long-range financial planning initiatives.

People Leadership
  • Recruit, train, develop, and evaluate Finance/Accounting team members.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with departmental leaders.
  • Lead succession planning and talent development within the finance function.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a CFO, Finance Director, or equivalent executive role in a legal or e-Discovery environment.
  • Master's degree in Accounting or MBA required.
  • CPA certification strongly preferred.
  • Strong background in financial systems implementation and IT purchasing.
  • Advanced modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and analytical expertise.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct and QuickBooks highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Anytime Collect, Yooz, Avalara, Nexonia, Navan, Hotel Engine, SAP Concur, ADP, and Solaria preferred.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Ability to work in a computer-based environment for extended periods.
