The Associate Creative Director, Copywriter leads copywriting and is dedicated to excelling at their craft. They support the Chief Creative Officer in guiding and managing the development of creative. They report to the Executive Creative Director and are part of the Wonderful Agency, the in-house agency that operates as creator of marketing communications and brand experiences for FIJI Water, POM Wonderful, Wonderful Pistachios & Almonds, Wonderful Halos, JUSTIN and Landmark Wines, and Teleflora.
This position will report to the Executive Creative Director and will be based at our West Los Angeles, CA office. We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.
Job Description
  • Create original concepts, compelling messaging, and innovative creative solutions for a variety of fun, simple, inspiring, and good-for-you brands.
  • Partner with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Designers, Producers, and cross-functional teams to develop breakthrough ideas and integrated campaigns across TV/video, social and influencer campaigns, experiential activations, point-of-sale and collateral, print, out-of-home, CRM, branding and PR programs.
  • Lead the verbal development and execution of campaigns from concept through final production, ensuring work is strategically sound, creatively compelling, and aligned with brand objectives.
  • Develop copy and content across a wide range of deliverables, ensuring a high level of craft, consistency, and attention to detail throughout the creative process.
  • Develop creative work in support of our philanthropic efforts in health and wellness, education, community development and the arts.
  • Collaborate closely with producers, project managers, and marketing partners to ensure creative solutions are delivered effectively and efficiently.
  • Own projects from briefing through final delivery, balancing multiple assignments while meeting deadlines and maintaining creative excellence.
  • Build and nurture relationships with cross functional teams.
  • Foster an idea-first culture that values collaboration, curiosity, accountability, creative excellence, and a passion for making memorable work.

Qualifications
  • At least 7 years' experience as an ad agency Copywriter working on 360 campaigns.
  • Strong portfolio that demonstrates the ability to produce simple, original ideas and innovative approaches across channels, along with the writing skills and attention to detail to execute in a variety of mediums.
  • Demonstrated ability to concept and execute original, insight-driven creative ideas that effectively communicate brand strategies and business objectives.
  • Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to craft compelling headlines, engaging long-form content, and impactful messaging across a variety of formats, audiences, and brand voices.
  • Exceptional writing, storytelling, messaging, and conceptual thinking skills, with the ability to develop compelling content across a variety of formats and channels.
  • Strong understanding of content creation, video production, social storytelling, and emerging communication formats.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate creative concepts and rationale to creative leadership, cross-functional partners, senior executives, and stakeholders.

Pay Range: $145,000 - $185,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
