Job Title: Creative Director
Company Name: Four Seasons Heating, Air Conditioning, Plumbing, Sewer & Electric
Location: Bedford Park, IL
Job Type: Full-time
Salary Range: $120k-$160K
About Us: Four Seasons is Chicagoland's trusted choice for heating, air conditioning, plumbing, sewer, and electrical services. With decades of experience serving over one million homeowners across the greater Chicago area, we are a high-volume, performance-driven company committed to growth, innovation, and delivering exceptional service to every customer we serve.
Job Description: We are seeking a visionary, hands-on Creative Director to lead all creative aspects of marketing and communications at Four Seasons. Reporting directly to the CMO, this senior-level role will own the creative vision across web, paid social, print, video, TV commercial production, multi-channel promotions, and internal communications. The ideal candidate brings a strong portfolio spanning both digital and traditional media, thrives managing lean teams with high output demands, and is skilled at leveraging AI tools to accelerate production without sacrificing quality. If you are a creative leader who can balance big-picture brand strategy with the urgency of day-to-day execution across numerous competing deadlines, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
  • Set and maintain the overall creative vision, brand standards, and visual identity for Four Seasons across all marketing channels and customer touchpoints.
  • Lead the creative development of campaigns spanning TV commercials, video content, paid social ads, digital display, direct mail, print collateral, OTT, and web properties.
  • Oversee all stages of the creative process, from concept and storyboarding through design, production, and final delivery, ensuring work is on-brand, on-strategy, and on-time.
  • Manage and mentor the internal creative team, including a Graphic Design Manager and fractional creative specialists, fostering a culture of high output, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the primary creative liaison with external production partners, agencies, freelancers, and vendors; manage relationships, scopes of work, and quality standards.
  • Lead TV commercial production end-to-end, including creative concept development, script writing, vendor selection, shoot oversight, and post-production review.
  • Champion the adoption and integration of AI-powered creative tools to increase production speed, reduce costs, and expand the team's capacity without adding headcount.
  • Collaborate closely with the CMO and broader marketing team to translate business objectives and campaign strategies into compelling creative executions.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and competing deadlines across channels, ensuring the creative team delivers consistently under high-volume demand.
  • Review and approve all creative work before external launch, maintaining rigorous quality control and brand consistency.
  • Stay current on creative trends, emerging platforms, AI tools, and competitive activity to keep Four Seasons' marketing fresh, relevant, and differentiated.
  • Support internal communications and employer branding initiatives, including employee-facing campaigns, event materials, and HR partnership projects.

Qualifications:
  • 8-12+ years of creative leadership experience with a strong portfolio spanning digital, print, video, and broadcast; home services, trades, or high-volume consumer services experience is a strong plus.
  • Proven track record of leading creative teams in fast-paced, high-output environments, ideally with experience managing lean teams that punch above their weight.
  • Demonstrated expertise in TV commercial production, including concept development, scripting, shoot management, and post-production oversight.
  • Strong proficiency with AI-powered creative tools (e.g., Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Runway, ChatGPT, or similar) and a clear vision for integrating AI into creative workflows.
  • Deep understanding of brand strategy, visual identity systems, and how creative execution drives performance across paid media, direct response, and brand-building channels.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle numerous competing deadlines, shifting priorities, and cross-functional stakeholder needs without dropping quality.
  • Experience managing external creative vendors, production houses, freelancers, and agency partners.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills; comfortable presenting creative concepts and strategic rationale to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro) and familiarity with design and project management platforms (e.g., Figma, Canva, Asana, Monday.com).
  • Self-directed and highly adaptable, with a hands-on mentality and willingness to roll up sleeves when the team needs it.
