What is a Chief Community Officer?

A Chief Community Officer (CCO) is a senior executive responsible for building, managing, and nurturing a company's community—whether that's customers, users, employees, or brand advocates. The CCO develops strategies to engage and grow the community, often overseeing social media, forums, events, and customer experience programs. Their role is critical in fostering brand loyalty, encouraging user feedback, and ensuring the community's voice is represented at the executive level. This collaborative approach is key to fostering a vibrant, engaged community that supports business growth.
