Job description

Overview

Carle Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Pulmonary Medicine Team in Urbana, Illinois.

Opportunity Details

Position details include:

  • Join a team of seven Pulmonary physicians and three advanced practice registered nurses

  • Typical schedule M-F/8am-5pm

  • Provide healthcare to patients with an emphasis on disease prevention, health promotion, health maintenance and supportive care

  • Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic studies

  • Seeks consultation with other health team members and coordinates multidisciplinary care

  • Provides and discusses treatment options with patient and family

  • The position includes hospital rounding and consults, as well as clinic time located adjacent to the hospital and at other Carle locations

  • Branch rotation outreach 2-4 times per month

Educational/Experience Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nursing

  • One year of APRN clinical experience is preferred

  • Consideration for nursing in critical care or procedural care units

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

  • Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse licensure

  • American Heart Association BLS

The compensation range for this position is $60.72-$78.94. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health.
