Job description

Our Chemprene location of the AMMEGA Specialty team, we are currently looking for a/an Operator I. 
As an Operator I, you will be responsible for proficiency in one or two of the following machines: Rotocure, Presses, Laminator, Slitters, Wrapper, Unwrapper, and Warm Up Mill. You will report to the Production Supervisor and be part of the Production Team. This role is based in Beacon, New York.
A day in the life of an Operator I can look like: 
     Tests all safety devices/emergency stop buttons at the start of each shift 
    Conducts safety audit of area at the start of each shift 
    Completes Hoist Safety Checklist at the start of each shift 
    Notifies Supervisor of any safety hazard found during shift 
    Reviews production schedule and verifies expectations for the shift 
    Reads process route sheet (PRS) to determine specifics of job scheduled 
    Gathers appropriate material for job (poly, shells, etc.) 
    Operates machine according to Standard Operating Procedures

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • High School Level Math Skills
