Description
**$2,500 Sign-On Bonus (Weekends)**
The Pultrusion Mixer plays a crucial role in the production process by handling all chemical mixing responsibilities for their shift. This position is not only pivotal in ensuring the correct mixing of resins and coatings by following recipes but also contributes significantly to setup changes and overall operational efficiency.
Available Shifts:
  • Days | Monday-Thursday | 6:00AM-6:30PM
  • Weekend Nights | Friday-Sunday | 6:00PM-6:30AM
    • $3.00/hour shift differential
    • $2,500 sign-on bonus

Compensation:
GEOTEK's compensation model is skill-based, and starting pay levels are determined by previous experience and transferable skills. The range for this position breaks down as follows:
  • Level 1: $22.50
  • Level 2: $23.18 - $24.50
  • Level 3: $25.50 - $26.50
  • Level 4: $27.30 - $28.50

Hiring manager will determine pay level based off experience, skillset, and knowledge.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for mixing of all resin and coating mixes for the shift.
  • Read and understand recipes of resin mixes.
  • Monitor and/or mix resin and coatings as per Geotek policy.
  • Perform testing to ensure resin mix meets acceptance criteria.
  • Assist with the unloading of chemical material deliveries.
  • Fill out paperwork accurately for ISO documentation.
  • Mentor and train new employees.
  • Communicate well with leads and supervisors to ensure mixes are aligned with machine operation.
  • Performs other duties, in any area of the plant, as directed including but not limited to the following:
    • Coordination of exchanging setups on the machine in a cost effective, efficient and speedy manor, with an ongoing emphasis on reducing time and cost of setups. This includes preparing the next set-up to the point where the die and formers are strung with glass and prepared to slide between the heat plates and clamp in position.
    • Prepare finished products for shipping and/or further secondary operations. This may include notching, pointing, packaging, palletizing, etc.

Job Requirements
  • Excellent attendance is needed.
  • Must be a self-motivated leader with a proactive attitude.
  • Must have excellent communication skills in English.
  • Must be able to understand detailed instructions and follow them.
  • Must be mechanically inclined.
  • Must be able to always work with all people.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision after the job and procedures are known.

Physical Work Conditions
  • The position is located on the production floor, standing for up to 12 hours a day.
  • Work with or around power tools, loud equipment, and chemicals.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally.
