Responsibilities:
? Greeting customers when they arrive at the deli counter.
? Ordering, purchasing, and stocking of deli products.
? Ensure product freshness by rotating out old products and following quality control schedules.
? Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe workspace at all times.
? Keeping deli equipment and tools clean at all times follow safety standards.
? Follow recipes and deli food preparation meeting expectations of Farmer Joe's Fresh Market standards with exceptional quality.
? Ensure sufficient supply of deli items is displayed in cases.
? Pack ready to sell deli products and label them with product type and pricing information.
? Slice, cut, weigh and price deli items carefully.
? Attend to the needs of customers regarding Italian meats and pasta
? Prepare production of Mozzarella and grab and go's as needed or requested by the department manager.
? Merchandise Mozzarella and keep olive maintained at all times.
? Make fresh mozzarella several times a day.
? Will help Gourmet cheese to maintain area or anything requested by department manager.
? Perform other duties as assigned by the department manager.
