Job description

Job Title: Checker/Loader Location: Waukesha WI Type: Contract Shift: 2nd shift 4pm -12am or 6pm -2am Schedule: Sunday - Friday, Off on Tuesday & Saturday Pay: $25/hr Responsibilities

  • Move and organize stacks of product throughout the distribution area.
  • Use pick-to-light programs or voice-activated equipment to accurately select and fill route orders.
  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Follow all food safety, food quality, and SQF procedures and requirements.
  • Immediately report and take appropriate action regarding any food safety or quality concerns.
  • Follow procedures outlined in the Food Safety Plan, Food Quality Plan, and other programs supporting SQF and third-party audit requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stack and carry trays and push or pull stacks of product.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding distribution environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety and quality procedures.
