Job description

Growing restaurant group is looking for a Hotel Focused Financial Manager to assist with all aspects of financial management, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation. Finance manager will report directly to the Director of Finance and will work closing with general managers and office managers at each of the venues.

Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To

· Manage all accounting operations including Payroll, Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition

· Processing management approved vendor invoices with department breakdown

· Assisting with bimonthly check processing and mailing

· Reconciliation of vendor statements

· Reconcile credit card charges weekly

· Weekly report of inventory usage including the percentage of sales

· Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

· Daily P&L Spreadsheet workbook detailing each week with weekly and per period comparison

· P&L report with per period comparison

· New Hire paperwork knowledge

· Provide any fluctuations in price

· Market research on pricing from vendors

· Enter payroll using ADP and process weekly

· Monitoring of credit card tips reporting to actual tips

· Employee garnishments processed

· Send weekly payroll cost breakdown per department including percentage of sales

· Full understanding of process for Transit Check and Health Insurance

The Ideal Candidate Will Have the Following

· 2-3 years experience with accounts payable

· General knowledge of restaurant financials

· Ability to use Excel, Word, QuickBooks, Paycom, Micros, Avero, and Aloha

· Experience with creating financial statements

· Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
