Job description

Caring Angels Home Care is looking for part-time and full-time dynamic Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants for our Home based Pediatric cases in Brooklyn. This position offers a base salary of $80,000.00 plus an excellent benefits package which includes: Medical and Dental insurance, 401k Plan after only 3 Months of Employment, 27 Paid Time Off Days, 10 Paid Holidays. The option to cover Case Load on Weekends is available.

Our part-time and full-time positions offer therapists the option to have a Personal Driver pick you up from your home ( Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan and the Bronx ) and drive you to your cases and then back home. Currently, we are the only agency in New York that offers this unique door-to-door chauffeur service!

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant ( COTA ) Job Description:

  • Assessing under the OT Supervisor the patient’s physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan.

  • Assessing the home, school and work environments of the patient

  • Helping children to take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstances.

  • Identifying the patients Sensory Integration processing needs.

  • Reviewing the patient’s progress and adapting the treatment accordingly.

  • Performing administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone calls.

Position Qualifications:

· Certified by The State of New York as Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • Weekends as needed

  • Master's (Preferred)
