Position Summary Information
Position Summary
The Greeter fosters a welcoming environment in The Patriot Hub that ensures each student and visitor feels supported. By providing accurate information and routing to appropriate staff and departments, the Greeter facilitates smooth entry and access to the college while upholding its mission and values. This role is key to creating a positive first impression and enhancing the overall experience for the college community.
Responsibilities
  • Welcome students, visitors, and colleagues as they enter The Patriot Hub.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for students and visitors by answering inquiries via phone, live chat, email, and in person; provide general information about college programs, resources, and services; and transfer calls or refer students to the appropriate department as needed.
  • Direct students, visitors, and colleagues to the appropriate staff member or department.
  • Schedule appointments with The Patriot Hub staff and assist with check-in for scheduled meetings and walk-ins.
  • Assist applicants and students with forms such as admission and residency applications and change of name or contact information.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Support The Patriot Hub by assisting with clerical tasks such as entering data, processing, making copies, filing documents, and shredding materials as needed.
  • Provide printed materials and guide the college community to online resources.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of college programs, processes, and events to address common questions effectively.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
