Job Summary:
TransPerfect Connect is the world's largest provider of language services and technology solutions for global business, and they are seeking a Junior QA Engineer to join their team. The role involves defining quality standards, writing and executing test cases, and collaborating closely with engineers to ensure the reliability of a low-code application builder.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Write, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for a drag-and-drop application builder
โ€ข Identify, document, and track bugs with clear, reproducible steps
โ€ข Collaborate closely with frontend engineers to catch issues early in the dev cycle
โ€ข Help build out regression test suites as features evolve
โ€ข Contribute to QA processes and documentation that grow with the team
โ€ข Participate in sprint planning and review to understand what's being shipped and what needs coverage
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 0โ€“2 Years Experience | Automation a Plus
โ€ข Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred)
โ€ข 0โ€“2 years of QA or software testing experience (internship or project work counts)
โ€ข Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
โ€ข Clear written communication, you'll be writing a lot of bug reports
โ€ข Understanding of the software developer lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
โ€ข Experience writing test cases, test plans, and bug reports
โ€ข Familiarity with functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
