Job description


This role will troubleshoot complete PC systems and CORSAIR products, including hardware, software, installation, compatibility, firmware, and performance issues. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building and troubleshooting desktop computers and can clearly explain technical solutions to customers.
Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support through inbound phone calls and live chat.
  • Troubleshoot PC components, including memory, power supplies, cooling systems, storage, motherboards, processors, graphics cards, cases, fans, and peripherals.
  • Assist with Windows, BIOS settings, drivers, firmware, device detection, and CORSAIR software.
  • Guide customers through installation, configuration, compatibility, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Identify defective products and assist with warranty or replacement processes.
  • Accurately document customer interactions and troubleshooting performed.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues when necessary.
  • Maintain strong productivity, documentation, and customer satisfaction results.
Required Skills
  • Hands-on experience building, upgrading, or repairing desktop computers.
  • Strong knowledge of PC hardware, Windows, drivers, BIOS or UEFI, and common diagnostic procedures.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to explain technical information clearly to customers of all experience levels.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to remain patient and professional during difficult customer interactions.
  • Ability to work on-site in Milpitas, California.
Preferred Qualifications
