Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Hybrid

Amaze Health

Denver, CO

$112K - $145K/yr

Full-time

Re-posted 5 days ago

Job description

Amaze Health is a virtual healthcare company unlike any other. We provide concierge-style virtual care at the touch of a button. It's like having that "doctor friend" everyone wishes they had for anything health-related (current health concern, illness, accident, chronic condition, mental health, etc.). Amaze is the always-accessible, independent healthcare partner dedicated to empowering our patients with all the care, tools and resources they need to thrive within an increasingly complex and difficult US healthcare system. We don't just take care of people; we partner with them and change lives. Join our innovative team as we transform healthcare in America, one patient at a time.

We're seeking a patient-focused Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be more than just a provider, you'll be a trusted partner in each patient's health journey. You'll deliver high-touch, personalized care through our innovative virtual platform, working side-by-side with physicians, fellow Advanced Practice Providers (APP) and other members of a multidisciplinary team. Together, you'll create a seamless care experience that combines the speed and convenience of technology with the warmth and empathy of true human connection.

This is an opportunity to practice medicine the way it should be, spending more time listening, connecting, and problem-solving with patients rather than navigating unnecessary barriers. You'll thrive here if you're adaptable, resourceful, and genuinely excited to help build a new kind of healthcare experience-one that puts patients first, values collaboration, and embraces innovation at every step.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct thoughtful, targeted assessments to identify the root cause of symptoms and health concerns.
  • Integrate clinical expertise, patient history, and diagnostics to make sound, evidence-based decisions.
  • Order, interpret, and follow up on labs and other tests to guide care plans.
  • Prescribe medications and educate patients on use, safety, and potential side effects.
  • Partner with other APPs, physicians, and the extended care team to deliver coordinated, patient-first care.
  • Navigate challenges with ease, prioritizing patient needs and finding practical solutions.
  • Build trust through empathy, active listening, and clear, plain-language communication.
  • Support patients via phone, chat, email, and video.
  • Continuously learn and refine your practice to drive better outcomes and experiences.
