Work Environment

This position allows you to work remotely, providing flexibility to shape your work-life balance. You will have the autonomy to create your schedule, making it possible to integrate your personal commitments with your professional responsibilities. Our user-friendly counselor portal provides all the tools necessary for client bookings, scheduling, and conducting sessions via secure video chat.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized counseling sessions to clients via secure video chat, ensuring ethical and compassionate care.
• Utilize solution-based treatment modalities to effectively address clients' mental health needs.
• Craft and implement tailored treatment plans that align with clients' specific challenges and life circumstances.
• Facilitate meaningful discussions to help clients cultivate insights regarding their feelings, experiences, and relationships.
• Track and assess client progress throughout their therapy journey, adapting strategies as needed to aid in the development of positive coping mechanisms.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base encompasses diverse individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to complex interpersonal issues. As a counselor, you will work closely with clients to ensure they receive therapy that aligns with their personal experiences and backgrounds, affording you the opportunity to impact lives profoundly.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Counseling or a closely related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon.
• Ability to practice independently without supervision is mandatory.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with an innate capacity for empathy and understanding.
• Proficiency with technology, particularly in utilizing various communication platforms for remote counseling.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a remote counseling setting is a plus.
• Experience working with varied client demographics, including underrepresented communities.
• Familiarity with solution-focused therapy techniques and other evidence-based practices.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000, with compensation based on hours worked.
