What is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)?

A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is a professional designation given by the CFA Institute to individuals who have completed a rigorous program of study and passed three levels of exams covering topics such as investment analysis, portfolio management, and ethical standards.
