What is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)?

A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is a professional designation given by the CFA Institute to individuals who have completed a rigorous program of study and passed three levels of exams covering topics such as investment analysis, portfolio management, and ethical standards. CFAs are recognized globally for their expertise in finance and investment management. They often work as portfolio managers, research analysts, or financial advisors.
