Part-Time Martial Arts Instructor Teach Kids | Evening Classes | Great Pay

For over 35 years, ACTIVSTARS Athletics has been a national leader in youth martial arts programs, helping thousands of students build confidence, discipline, and leadership while having fun.

We are currently seeking passionate Martial Arts Instructors who enjoy working with kids and want a flexible, well-paid part-time opportunity teaching their martial arts style in a positive, structured environment.

Our instructors teach their primary style while following the ActivStars Athletics curriculum outline, which focuses on developing strong fundamentals, character, and life skills.

Martial Arts Instructor Youth Programs (Part-Time Evenings)

What You'll Do

  • Teach martial arts classes for beginner through advanced youth students.
  • Create a fun, positive, and structured learning environment.

All new instructors receive paid training, including ActivStars Athletic teaching methods, curriculum guidelines, record-keeping procedures, and hands-on mentoring with a veteran instructor.

Instructor Requirements

  • Applicants must hold a Black Belt in a traditional forms-based martial art.
  • Must be familiar with kata or forms based on traditional style.
  • Applicants should have training in Karate, Taekwondo, Kenpo, Kung Fu, or a similar system.
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and have reliable transportation to travel to class locations.
  • Candidates should enjoy working with children and families.
  • Ideal candidates have a strong technical foundation, leadership skills, and a passion for mentoring young students.

Schedule

  • Weekday evenings, typically between 5:30 PM and 9:00 PM or 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
  • Most instructors teach one to two nights per week, with opportunities to add more classes if desired.

Pay

  • $15 to $30+ per hour.
  • Pay is based on student enrollment.
  • Typical earnings are $300 to $400 per month, teaching just one evening per week.
  • Additional earnings are available to instructors who teach at multiple locations.
