Job Summary

Count inventory as required to maintain inventory accuracy. Assure material movement is properly recorded and that items are physically located in their specified storage bin locations. Contribute to maintaining a well-organized, safe and clean warehouse. 

Duties and Responsibilities

    Assure that Char-Broil maintains at least 99% inventory record accuracy.
    Cycle/Audit count selected items and locations every day to ensure correct system information. Perform accurate piece counts on items when required.
    Investigate inventory problems, such as items that show negative balances, invalid quantities, or are found to be out of location. Detect and correct inventory errors and notify appropriate parties to take corrective action to prevent future occurrences.
    Maintain working knowledge of SAP and EWM business systems in order to be able to track inventory transactions and to run reports as necessary.
    Remain familiar with warehouse layout, WIP areas, pick-faces, and other special storage locations.
    Maintain safety and housekeeping. Contribute to keeping warehouses properly organized. Notify management of inventory situations with potential for damage or safety concerns. 
    Participate in special scrap or parts-consolidation projects as requested by management.
    Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounting Operations Manager.
    Other duties as deemed necessary.

Qualification Requirements

Minimum Education:    High School Diploma or GED


Minimum Work Experience:   1 - 2 years in manufacturing/warehousing environment preferreduse management systems and RF scanning equipment.

License(s) / Certification(s):    N/A

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    Working knowledge of warehouse management systems and RF scanning equipment
    Possess minimal PC skills required to fulfill job duties
    Possess good communication and mathematical skills
    Maintain good attendance
    Ability to work in a constant state of alertness
    Ability to work cooperatively with co-workers
    Ability to have regular and predictable attendance
Physical Requirements:        Prolonged standing and walking
    Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
    Must be able to work overtime as needed to meet customer demands
    Must be able to work at multiple warehouse facilities
    Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment
