All about the role:

The Senior Commercial Manager - Caribbean Sub-Cluster is responsible for leading the development and execution of the commercial strategy across the Caribbean markets to deliver sustainable revenue growth, profitability, market share expansion, and customer satisfaction. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role serves as the primary commercial leader for the sub-cluster and acts as a key business partner to Regional Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Product Management, and Operations teams.

The Senior Commercial Manager will own the end-to-end commercial planning process, including go-to-market execution, strategic account management, channel development, portfolio optimization, pricing strategy, forecasting, and commercial performance management. The role will ensure alignment between commercial priorities and business objectives while driving excellence in execution across diverse Caribbean markets.

This position requires a highly collaborative leader with strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, customer focus, and the ability to lead through influence in a matrixed environment.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the Caribbean Sub-Cluster, aligning business objectives with regional and corporate priorities.

  • Drive profitable growth through market expansion, customer development, channel optimization, and strategic growth initiatives.

  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, competitive activity, and business opportunities to inform commercial strategy and strengthen market position.

  • Lead annual business planning, forecasting, target setting, and performance management processes in partnership with the General Manager.

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, product launches, promotional programs, and portfolio initiatives in collaboration with Marketing and Product teams.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, retailers, and channel partners, while leading commercial negotiations and annual business planning.

  • Optimize distribution, channel coverage, pricing strategies, and customer profitability to maximize revenue, market share, and profitability.

  • Own commercial performance against revenue, volume, pricing, mix, market share, and financial targets, driving corrective actions as needed.

  • Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, and Demand Planning teams to improve forecasting accuracy, inventory management, product transitions, and business continuity.

  • Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and support demand-shaping and inventory optimization initiatives.

  • Serve as the primary commercial liaison across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Product Management, Customer Service, and Operations to ensure cross-functional alignment and execution of business priorities.

  • Influence decisions related to portfolio management, pricing, market investments, and strategic commercial initiatives.

  • Lead strategic projects that enhance business performance, operational effectiveness, and organizational capabilities.

  • Lead, coach, and develop commercial teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer focus, inclusion, continuous improvement, and high performance.

  • Champion employee engagement, talent development, and company values while modeling leadership behaviors that support long-term business growth.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferred in Business Administration or related filed.

  • MBA or master's degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 9 years of progressive experience in Sales, Commercial Management, Business Development, or General Management.

  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing teams, preferred in a regional or multi-country environment.

  • Proven track record of delivering revenue growth, profitability improvement, and market expansion.

  • Experience working within matrixed and cross-functional organizations.

  • Experience managing distributor networks and strategic customer relationships within Caribbean and/or Latin American markets.

  • Ability to travel throughout the Caribbean region as required.

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) required.
