Scope of Position:
The Channel Manager is responsible for leading strategic distributor relationships and driving revenue growth across Corning's North America channel network, with a strong focus on supporting Corning's position in the core commodities space. This role combines channel strategy, commercial execution, and cross-functional leadership to accelerate growth through distribution partners.
This leader will build strong partner relationships, identify growth opportunities, and drive alignment across sales, marketing, supply chain, finance, and channel teams. Success in this role will come from improving partner performance, increasing visibility to business results, and ensuring channel activity consistently translates into revenue growth and share gain.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead channel strategy and execution across North America to support revenue growth and strengthen Corning's position in the core commodities space
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with distributor partners and key internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute commercial growth plans tied to partner performance, target accounts, and business priorities
  • Monitor revenue performance, forecasts, shipments, and key commercial indicators to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities
  • Turn performance insights into clear action plans with defined owners and timelines
  • Act as a liaison across sales, marketing, supply chain, finance, and channel teams to drive alignment and execution
  • Prepare and deliver clear, decision-oriented business updates for senior leadership
  • Support resolution of partner issues, escalations, and execution barriers
  • Help lead contract management, compliance, and channel enablement activities
  • Maintain a strong operating rhythm around business reviews, forecasting, reporting, and follow-through

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, Finance, Communications, or a related field
  • 3+ years of progressive commercial experience in channel management, distribution, sales, or related business leadership roles
  • Experience working in both distribution and direct sales models
  • Demonstrated success driving revenue growth through distributor or channel partner networks
  • Strong executive communication, stakeholder influence, and cross-functional leadership skills
  • Experience with forecasting, business planning, and commercial performance management
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization preferred

The range for this position is $120,938.00 - $166,290.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
