Role Overview

As a leading provider of AI-driven investment solutions, MDOTM offers a high-growth environment where you will have the opportunity to substantially shape our commercial success. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities and managing the end-to-end business development process.


Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, qualify, target and engage institutional prospects through a multi-channel approach (cold calling, networking, industry events, referrals)
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of high-quality opportunities to ensure consistent growth and momentum towards targets
  • Consistently follow the sales process and keep the CRM updated, maintaining accurate, up-to-date pipeline tracking, forecasting, and activity reporting
  • Deliver high-impact, persuasive demos of Sphere, clearly articulating its value proposition and differentiating capabilities
  • Tailor pitches and presentations to specific client needs and use cases, translating complex concepts into compelling, client-relevant narratives
  • Drive opportunities forward with urgency, overcoming objections and maintaining control of the sales process through to close
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Head of Sales to ensure aligned messaging, targeted outreach, and effective campaign follow-up
  • Consistently meet and exceed quarterly sales targets in a high-performance environment
  • Stay highly informed on market trends, competitors, and client needs to continuously refine your approach and positioning


Skills required

  • Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, targeting institutional investors or within financial services/fintech
  • Excellent listening and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders
  • Strong commercial mindset with a clear ability to influence, persuade, and close senior stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • High level of discipline and accountability, particularly in pipeline management and CRM usage
