International Account Manager

New Pig is searching for a confident and growth-oriented International Sales professional to grow sales while engaging and positively impacting our customers by developing, maintaining, and expanding relationships. This position requires proactive contact with customers and effective communication skills while being aware of and responsive to customer needs.

This onsite position is based at our Tipton, PA office. Remotely-based candidates may also be considered, however, quarterly trips to our corporate headquarters in Tipton, PA, will be required.

Success Factors & Essential Duties:

  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships and excellent relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners
  • Resolve client issues and inquiries in a timely manner. Uncover, identify, and close additional customer needs.
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets and ensure performance aligns with business objectives
  • Identify and pursue new/current business opportunities
  • Have a business growth mindset
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing programs
  • Ability to create incentive campaigns, rebate programs
  • Ability to calculate ROI on promotions, volume discounts.
  • Translate and adapt presentation materials and collaterals from English to Japanese
  • Support and follow company policies and procedures
  • Adhere to New Pig's Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience managing customers/accounts preferred. New graduates and/or those with less experience may also be considered.
  • International sales or marketing experience, in Japan, would be a plus.
  • Experience deploying New Business/Channel Development
  • Ability to learn and apply New Pig's sales results-oriented methodologies
  • Ability to manage different accounts, projects, budgets, expectations in different countries
  • Ability to adapt to different cultures and diversity
  • Global, strategic thinker
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Sales hunter. Self-starter. Intrinsically motivated. Proactive and productive.
  • Previous experience in Direct Sales and Channel Sales through Distributors/Resellers is preferable
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Microsoft Office (Excel basic pivot table, calculations, reports, Power point, Word) and ERP skills
  • Organized and detailed. Experience generating and analyzing reports.
  • Fluent in English and Japanese (reading, writing and speaking). Japanese fluency is a must.
  • Product presentation skills (Ability to prepare and present in English and Japanese to small and large groups)
  • Ability to travel internationally, when necessary
  • No VISA sponsorships for this role
