Job description

About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Change Manager to lead high-impact, fast-moving change initiatives for a leading technology organization in the Bay Area. This role is designed for a confident, adaptable leader who thrives in ambiguity, operates with urgency, and excels at orchestrating complex programs by aligning the right people, insights, and execution at the right time.
Rather than serving as a deep subject-matter expert in traditional change disciplines, this role focuses on strategic coordination, executive communication, and momentum-building across multiple workstreams.
What You Will Do
• Drive complex change initiatives in a fast-paced technology environment, managing multiple concurrent workstreams with clarity and accountability.
• Distill ambiguity into clear action plans, synthesizing inputs from diverse stakeholders into prioritized recommendations and next steps.
• Serve as a trusted partner to senior leaders, delivering concise, executive-ready communications, insights, and decision support.
• Facilitate high-stakes discussions and working sessions, maintaining focus, resolving friction, and driving alignment and forward momentum.
• Orchestrate cross-functional teams and subject-matter experts, ensuring dependencies, timelines, and deliverables are aligned and progressing.
• Navigate evolving program structures and shifting priorities, rapidly adjusting plans while maintaining delivery discipline.
• Influence and engage strong personalities with confidence and credibility, fostering productive and durable working relationships.
• Translate research, data, and qualitative inputs into compelling narratives that inform strategy and enable execution.
• Establish and track success metrics, risks, and progress indicators, escalating issues and recommending course corrections as needed.
Key Competencies
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, executive-ready summaries.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity, with strong judgment to determine priorities and drive action.
• Advanced facilitation skills to guide discussions, align stakeholders, and maintain momentum.
• High adaptability and resilience in constantly evolving program environments.
• Confident executive presence with the ability to influence without authority.
• Strong program management mindset focused on coordination, orchestration, and delivery.
• Ability to leverage subject-matter experts effectively rather than personally owning all content areas.
• Bias for action, urgency, and outcomes in high-velocity environments.
What You Bring
• 6+ years of experience leading complex initiatives in fast-paced technology or consulting environments.
• Demonstrated success managing ambiguity and translating complexity into execution.
• Proven experience supporting senior and executive-level stakeholders.
• Strong background in program, portfolio, or transformation management.
• Experience working across cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Why Join Us
You will work at the center of high-visibility initiatives within a leading technology organization, partnering with smart, driven teams to shape and deliver meaningful change. This role offers the opportunity to make immediate impact, influence outcomes, and grow alongside a dynamic and innovative environment.
What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Real estate license (where required by state law).
  • The innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions.
  • Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
