Title: 24-00596 - BOM Analyst & Engineering Change Specialist (Automotive)


Job Description:

The BOM and Engineering Change Management Specialist is responsible for managing Electronic Bills of Material (eBOMs) and coordinating Engineering Change Management (ECM) processes throughout the product lifecycle. This role ensures data accuracy, process compliance, and timely implementation of engineering changes while supporting engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage eBOM structures and product data.
  • Coordinate Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), Orders (ECOs), and Notices (ECNs).
  • Ensure accurate release and implementation of engineering changes.
  • Support configuration management and PLM/PDM systems.
  • Provide process guidance and training to cross-functional teams.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and standardization.
  • Open to recent graduates with relevant internship or co-op experience.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure BOM and change management accuracy.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Open to recent graduates with relevant internship or co-op experience.
  • Knowledge of BOM management, Engineering Change Management, and PLM/PDM systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or product development environments preferred.
