Adult Inpatient Psychiatrists Cleveland Clinic Indian River Behavioral Health Center โ€“ Vero Beach, Florida

Cleveland Clinic Floridaโ€™s Neurological Institute, Department of Psychiatry and Psychology, are seeking ABPN board-certified Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist(s) to join our growing team at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Behavioral Health Center in Vero Beach, Florida.

These physicians will be leading a team of clinicians in our 36 inpatient psychiatry bed unit and advancing their career as we expand neuropsychiatry and geropsychiatry services in the Florida hospital system. Expertise in geriatric psychiatry is highly desired, and ECT certification is strongly preferred.

This position offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment. In addition to inpatient psychiatry coverage, the selected candidate will develop two halfโ€‘day outpatient psychiatry clinics per week, focusing on bridge clinic followโ€‘up visits and intensive outpatient program (IOP) referrals. Selected qualified candidate with experience in inpatient psychiatry operations may also serve as medical director of the Behavioral Health Center (BHC) at CCIR.

Weekend call is approximately 1 in 4 weekends, with crossโ€‘coverage among psychiatry services.

Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital is a 332โ€‘bed, notโ€‘forโ€‘profit hospital offering comprehensive medical services and advanced technology to Floridaโ€™s Treasure Coast. The Behavioral Health Center provides a continuum of psychiatric care for adults, adolescents, and children, including inpatient and intensive outpatient servicesโ€”delivered by a dedicated team of psychiatrists, advanced practice practitioners, nurses, and therapists.

The Neurological Institute is expanding its footprint in the Vero Beach hospital of Indian River, with expansion of neurosurgery, spine, and stroke services, and advancing brain health in future outpatient neurodegenerative disorder clinics.

Current and future inpatient psychiatry and consultation liaison psychiatry hires will work closely with their psychiatry and neurology counterparts in Ohio as well as Florida, developing best practices and a team model approach to patient care.
