Position Description:
CGI is looking to hire a Senior Business Systems Analyst. You will work within one of the most significant and highly visible teams, giving you the opportunity to make a strategic impact across multiple levels of the organization through your leadership and expertise.
This position is located five days a week at our client site in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland, OH, Dallas, TX, Birmingham, AL, Pheonix, AZ, Denver, CO.
For this role on this particular client engagement, employer sponsorship of immigration related visa and/or green card status as part of the PERM process will not be available.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Lead and manage multiple concurrent IT projects, including new development initiatives, application upgrades, and infrastructure updates
• Partner directly with project teams, senior management, and clients to define project scope, strategic objectives, and budget
• Own the development of comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, project plans, use cases, system specifications, technical documents, and test plans
• Proactively identify, escalate, and manage project risks and issues
• Demonstrate strong ability to create and maintain Swagger files for API documentation
• Apply hands on experience with Gherkin for behavior driven development and test scenario definition
• Act as the primary technical liaison between product management, development teams, sales, and clients
• Independently solicit, analyze, and translate complex business data, objectives, and processes into actionable requirements
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 8+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst
• Experience working in mobile application development (iOS and/or Android)
• Proven experience working in Agile and/or Scrum development environments
• Strong experience working with API driven and Java based backend systems supporting mobile platforms
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Deep knowledge of mobile system architecture and application portfolio management
• Demonstrated ability to simplify and standardize complex concepts and/or processes
• Advanced business process management and modeling expertise
• Strong requirements definition and management skills, specific to mobile features and user experience
• Advanced problem solving and analytical thinking abilities
• Proven ability to manage workload, multiple priorities, and conflicts with customers, employees, and managers, as applicable
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring junior BSAs and driving cross functional alignment across mobile product teams
