Aspire Communications & Aspire Broadband are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team. The CFO will be responsible for leading the finance department, establishing and implementing financial procedures, and ensuring the company's financial health as we scale our operations. The CFO will work directly with the CEO on strategic initiatives to drive business growth.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Leadership:
  • Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement robust financial controls and procedures to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.
  • Manage the company's financial planning and analysis functions to support strategic decision-making.
  1. Strategic Planning and Execution:
  • Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute the company's strategic plans.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support the company's growth objectives.
  • Participate in high-level decision-making processes to drive the company's financial strategy.
  1. Capital Management:
  • Lead efforts to secure funding for equipment purchases and other financing needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with investors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present detailed financial models, business plans, and investment decks to potential investors.
  • Oversee the management of the company's capital structure and funding strategies.
  1. Operational Efficiency:
  • Ensure Aspire Communications operates at cost + 10% to provide cost-effective build solutions.
  • Work closely with the construction team to optimize project costs and efficiency.
  • Implement financial strategies to ensure cost-effective operations and maximize profitability.
  1. Aspire Broadband Development:
  • Develop financial models and business plans for Aspire Broadband to support its market entry and growth.
  • Ensure financial alignment and integration between Aspire Communications and Aspire Broadband.
  1. Equity and Compensation Management:
  • Oversee the management of equity stakes in both Aspire Communications and Aspire Broadband, with vesting over ~two years.
  • Align financial incentives with the company's long-term goals to ensure mutual growth and success.
