The Role
The Portfolio Manager is responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of client investment portfolios in alignment with client goals and Investment Committee guidance. This position works closely with both the Investment Committee and the Financial Planning Team to ensure investment strategies support each client's broader financial plan.
Key Responsibilities
  • Implement investment strategies based on client objectives and Investment Committee direction
  • Construct and manage portfolios across approved asset allocation models
  • Monitor portfolio performance, risk exposure, and asset allocation drift
  • Execute trades and portfolio adjustments with accuracy and discipline
  • Collaborate with the Financial Planning Team to align investments with planning strategies
  • Participate in Investment Committee meetings, research discussions, and due diligence
  • Ensure compliance with firm policies, investment guidelines, and regulatory standards
  • Support client communication related to portfolio strategy and market conditions

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field (advanced degree a plus)
  • CFA designation or progress toward CFA strongly preferred
  • 5-10 years of portfolio management or investment analysis experience
  • Strong understanding of asset allocation, portfolio construction, and risk management
  • Experience working within an Investment Committee framework
  • High attention to detail and strong fiduciary mindset
  • Excellent communication and team-oriented collaboration skills
