Hospital Billing - Remote Coder CERTIFIED UROLOGY CODER
Must have own equipment and urology coding experience
Certifications Required
  • GED
  • Certified Professional Coding Certificate (AAPC), current with required continuing education
  • CUC

Skills & Experience Required
  • 1 year of diagnostic and procedure coding experience
  • Experience working in a multi-physician practice
  • Working knowledge of CPT and ICD-10-CM
  • Knowledge of computer billing systems, programs, and applications
  • Detailed knowledge of medical records, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes
  • Physician electronic filing experience covering all insurance carriers
