MLee Healthcare has partnered with a premier healthcare facility in North Alabama, seeking ambitious Radiologic Technologists eager to advance their careers.
About the Position:
  • Conduct routine and portable x-ray exams, ensuring efficient operation of equipment and adherence to radiation safety, quality assurance, and infection control standards.
  • Assess diagnostic images for technical quality, ensuring they meet required standards.
  • Confirm and update patient details and examination records, adjusting exam descriptions as necessary to accurately reflect the procedures performed.
  • Efficiently use PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System), RIS (Radiology Information System), and the current Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, along with completing all necessary documentation for each exam.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of x-ray and related equipment, following infection control guidelines. Report any equipment malfunctions or repair needs to supervisory staff.
  • Fulfill all required continuing education and training mandates as specified by regulatory bodies.
  • Assist patients with mobility, applying correct body mechanics during transfers, lifting, and ambulation.
  • Maintain a valid Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as needed, while upholding the organization's standards of behavior and code of conduct.
Education/Certifications/Licenses/Degrees:
  • Graduate of Accredited Radiology Technology program
  • ARRT Licensure within 1 year of hire
